Playa Tamarindo - break description

Costa Rica North Pacific Coast - Tamarindo :

Tamarindo has 3 spots:

El Estero (Rivermouth): a excellent rivermouth break where the Tamarindo estuary hits the ocean; solid right hollow wave. Best conditions with a west swell with offshore winds at mid and high tide.

Pico Pequeño: a lava finger reef which can get really good with a swell, located south of the rivermouth. Breaks best at a mid tide.

Old's Man: a good wave for longboarding offering noseriding lefts and rights. It breaks best at mid tide with offshore wind.
